MONEY SHADOW WORK

Money Reiki and Money Shadow Work

You can “bless” or “intend” your money to be used for the highest good of all when sending or receiving money. This way the spiritual energy of money is being uplifted.

The spiritual energy of money is love, light and generosity. (according to Stephanie Brail) I also picked up the light hearted energy of fun when I tap into it.

Shadow Work

The first step is to start a gratitude journal and every day write down 3 things you are grateful for.

Here are some Money Shadow Work prompts to get you started on your inner shadow work journey

around money.

Here are some common beliefs around money:

  • Money is evil

  • Money is from the devil

  • Money makes you greedy

  • Money is hard to get

  • Money slips through your fingers

  • The “bad guys” have all the money

  • I can never have enough money

Let’s reframe these one by one until we can reprogram our beliefs,

Money is evil.

  • Money is made from paper.

  • It is actually people that are involved with money that sometimes have nefarious intentions and

use the money in ways to hurt others.
  • By blessing money, using money Reiki and intending that money be used for the highest good of

all, we all raise the vibration of money.

Money is from the devil.

  • Again, money was created by men.

  • Some people use money in ways to hurt others. We can use money in ways to help others

(see above).

Money makes you greedy.

  • This is an overgeneralization and is not true.

  • Some people are greedy by nature. Money doesn’t make them greedy, they were already greedy.

  • Some people make feel insecure and when they get money they may feel the need to have more

and to hold on to their money.
  • That may come from a feeling of lack inside of themselves.

  • That is their problem, not yours.

  • If you are not greedy to begin with, money will not make you greedy.

Money is hard to get.

  • This is a statement likely repeated to us over and over from adults.

  • Start to slowly challenge this statement.

  • Start with, “I am always provided for”

  • When you start seeing “proofs” of this in your reality, move on to “I am open to seeing money

appear with ease around me”.
  • Again, pay attention to what you start to notice around you. Take notes.

  • Then start affirming “Money comes to me with ease and joy”. Watch the miracles happen.

  • This may take months, depending on how deep your beliefs go, but it could happen as quickly as

days.

Money slips through my fingers.

  • Someone may have said this to you in the past.
  • You may have a habit of overspending.
  • So let’s look at some reframing and reprogramming statements.
  • “I like holding on to my money for a little while”.
  •  “I like putting a little bit of my money in a savings account”.
  • “I like investing in myself by contributing to my 401K”.
  • “I enjoy having money left over at the end of the month”.
  • “I am generous with money and I am also generous with paying myself first.”
  •  “I enjoy keeping track of my expenditures so I can consciously send positive intentions with each
and every transaction and uplift the spiritual energy of money.”
  • “I feel better paying all my bills on time.”
  • “I feel confident when I have paid all my bills.”
  • “I enjoy living well below my means.”
  •  “I live below my means with joy and ease.”
  • While you are working on affirming statements, start looking at the way you are handling your
money. Do you need budgeting help, debt counseling, etc? See more tips below.

The bad guys have all the money.

  • No one is all bad or all good.

  • Those “bad” guys with all the money, yes, have money, but often have no love in their life with

failed marriages.
  • Or poor health.

  • Or horrible reputations.

  • Or something else that shows them to be out of balance. In other words, money is not everything.

  • They often lack in other areas of their life for the “price” of the money.

I can never have enough money.

  • This is a very low statement to start from.

  • It will require stepping statements to get from point A to point Z.

  • Begin your Gratitude Journal as advised. This is especially important for those struggling with this

statement. You need to begin to see the bounty around you every day. Start with finding 3 things
to be grateful for. Increase your number weekly until you are finding 7 things a day to be grateful
for. This can be a challenge, but really lean into it. And try to be as unique as you can with your
entries and try not to put the same things over and over. Really stretch yourself here. This is a
growth opportunity.

Here are the stepping statements.

  • “I have just enough money to get by”

  • “I have just enough money to squeeze by this week”

  • “I have just enough money to pay all the bills right now”

  • “I have enough money to cover the expenses this month”

  • “I have enough money”

  • “I have more than enough money”

  • Do this slowly. Once you become comfortable with a statement, move on to the next

  • While you are working on your affirming statement, also work on your budgeting skills. Research the internet, books, get help from a mentor, Credit Counseling, Debtor’s Anonymous or another debt resolving system.
